Joe Hudson

Ward 5 Councilman
Statesville City Council

"Making Things Happen."

I would like to take the time to show my appreciation and gratitude for everyone who played a positive role in my campaign. Thank you for your prayers and support. I would especially like to thank the voters in Ward 5 who voted for me and have placed their confidence in me as their representative on the city council. I am humbled and honored. Thank you.

When Statesville’s water supplies were almost exhausted by the late 1990s, Joe Hudson found and developed a new source of water for the city, Lookout Shoals, one that would last for over 30 years.

When Statesville needed to build a new pump station on Lookout Shoals, Joe Hudson used an innovative design idea that minimized the impact construction had on the river and surrounding habitat which cut construction costs.

When Statesville was faced with spending millions of dollars to dispose of solids produced by Statesville’s wastewater systems, Joe Hudson produced an environmentally friendly product called Sta-Lime, now used by local farmers to grow crops, and avoided disposal costs to Statesville, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Now Statesville faces new challenges, so elect Joe Hudson, a problem solver who Makes Things Happen.
